Jv finish 2021 on a high note while Varsity can’t wait to turn the calendar to 2022

by Coach Elliott on January 12, 2022

The JV Wildcats finished the 2021 holiday season by running off a win streak of 5 games while outscoring their opponents by a combined 32-2 and picking up a championship win in the Tamo Holiday tournament! Meanwhile the Varsity couldn’t wait for the new year as 2 difficult tournaments with depleted lineups saw the Cats earn just a single tie while dropping 7 games.

The New year spring eternal hope and the Varsity kicked it off in fine fashion with a 5-0 shutout win over rival St. Johns this past Sunday. Nowak pitched the shutout and balanced scoring saw single goals from Landon Elliott, Tyston Harrell, Mikey Burton, Hayden Symbolik and CJ Lehman for the convincing win. They will look to build off that momentum and the return to a full lineup with another tough stretch of games this upcoming weekend.

Friday night the varsity will take on Bowling Green in a league affair at Tamo @ 7:00 before both JV and Varsity head back out of town to take on Shaker Heights on Saturday night and St. Ignatius Sunday Morning.
