Long wait for regular season action over as Cats ready for opening weekend with a pair of games at Tamo

by Coach Elliott on November 25, 2019

The Northview Wildcats will look to get the regular season off on the right foot this upcoming weekend as they host Bedford for an out of conference game on Friday evening @ 5 before opening up league play with rival St. Francis Sunday @ 1:00. Both games will be at Tam-o-Shanter.

Northview had an up and down preseason that resulted  in a 1 and 2 record with a victory over Walsh Jesuit before a couple of losses to St. Charles and Upper Arlington. The Cats will need to improve on the inconsistencies and undisciplined play that were evident in the preseason as they take on a tough Bedford team that has battled the Cats hard the past 2 years in the season opener. Northview will then try to get an early jump in a league chase with a St. Francis team that returns a majority of their lineup from the 2019-19 season. Northview on the other hand will look for up to 10 new faces to earn their 1st official game with the Varsity.

Come on out to support your 2019-2020 Cats as they kick off the 42nd season of Northview Hockey and 48th overall for Sylvania High School!! Kick Ass Cats!!
