The Northview Wildcats finished up preseason this past weekend with a pair of wins over Upper Arlington 6-0 and San Diego 9-1!

On Friday Night the Cats used a balanced attack to skate past Upper Arlington 6 to 0. Mason Snyder secured the shutout and 6 different Cats scored for a balanced offensive attack. Senior Brandon Clark opened the scoring and Jake Ruehle, Justin Maroszek, Tyler Fredrick, Trevor Klee and Freshman David Crandall all chipped in for the Cats.

On Sunday morning Northview took on a team traveling in from San Diego California for a college visit to Bowling Green and the University of Michigan. The Cats were not the best host as they scored early and often for a 9-1 win. Senior Tyler Beattie picked up the win surrendering just a single goal (the first against for the preseason) and a host of Cats scored. Trevor Klee opened up the scoring while Seniors Cameron Hall and Brennen Otersen along with Junior Alex Miller and Sophomore Jeffrey Wood all tallied their first of the preseason. The Black Unit of Clark, Maroszek and David Crandall all found the net as the Cats wrapped up the preseason.

With a 3-0 record in the preseason the Cats look to keep the momentum going as they open up regular season play this Saturday at 5:00 PM versus Cleveland Rocky River @ Tam-o-Shanter.
