Cats struggle over Holiday’s looking forward to the New Year

by Coach Elliott on January 13, 2014

The Wildcats could only muster  up 2 wins over the holiday break which saw them travel to Cleveland for 2 seperate tournaments. Injuries, health problems and inconsistency led to the Cats dropping 6 games, though 4 of the 6 by just 1 goal, versus some of the top teams in the state.  the 2 wins and 6 losses has the Cats overall record at 6-9 and 1-2 in league play. With the return of some key players and a turning of the calendar the Cats look to turn things around in the win column as they play a pair of league contest this weekend at Tam=-o. Friday night the Cats take on Findlay at 7 before a rematch with St. Johns on Saturday evening at 9.

Speaking of returns. With head coach Mike Jones unavailable to make the game this evening, former head coach Jim Cooper will return to the bench  for 1 game to serve as an advisor and mentor for the game with Findlay. Welcome back coach Coop!!!
