Hirschfeld, Billick, Oliver named Sherwood Players of the Week

Mahoning Valley forward Alden Hirschfeld rang up four goals and four assists last week as the Phantoms fashioned a 3-0 record. On Monday, he scored two goals and two assists in Mahoning Valley’s 7-4 win over Team USA. On Friday, the Sylvania, Ohio, native notched a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Traverse City. The next night, Hirschfeld, who turns 19 on Friday, put forth another one-goal, one-assist effort as the Phantoms skated to a 9-5 triumph over the North Stars.
