Cats pick up 1 victory after game with BG postponed!

The Wildcats picked up their 2nd league victory in as many tries this past Saturday with a 10-0 blowout of new league foe Bedford! Drew Crandall picked up a pair of goals while 8 other Cats paced a balanced attack. Senior Brian Jackson scored his 1st official goal for the Cats after scoring a few times during scrimmage play as the Cats scored 5 times in both the 1st and 2nd periods to end the game after 2 periods of play. Junior David Marsh picked up his 2nd consecutive shutout for the win in the nets.

Friday night the Cats endured a 1st for the program. With 3 minutes left in the 1st period a pane of glass at BGSU shattered when senior Tyler Dewitt checked 1 of the bobcat forwards. After nearly an hour delay for repairs and a ice cut it was determined that the repair was unsafe for play and the game was postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

Saturdays win was the Cats 4th in a row after dropping the 1st 2 games of the season and moved them to 2-0 in league play. Northview will be off this weekend before they travel to Cleveland next weekend for their annual Padua Invitational.
