Cats move on with 8-0 win over Central Catholic

The Wildcats kept their hope for a final four trip going with an 8-0 win Over Cental Catholic Wednesday night at Tam-O-Shanter. The Cats jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 1 period of play before scoring single goals in the 2nd and 3rd periods for the final. The Wildcats scoring attack was led by Tim Hurst’s Hat trick and Alden Hirschfeld’s pair. Single markers from Adam Thanasiu, Brandon Snead and Cody Bourland rounded out the scoring for the Cats. Bobby McElheney and Craig Trego split time in goal for the Cats stopping all 7 Irish shots in the victory. With the win the cats will face Bowling Green Saturday night in the district semi-finals. BG defeated Findlay 2-1 in double OT in the second game last night. Saturdays game will be at 6 P.M. at Tam-O-Shanter. Good luck Cats!
