The Northview Wildcats swept three games over the weekend, including 2 league games, to improve their record to 19-0 overall and 5-0 in the NHC.

On Friday evening the Cats renewed their rivalry with the Cougars. Northview got all they could handle as they had to rally from a 2-1 deficit to start the 3rd for a 4-2 win. Tyler Cook scored a first period goal before 2 Southview goals gave them the lead after 2. Bob Napierala scored a short-handed goal to get the Cats rolling and Bradon Snead scored twice, including the game winner, as Northview escaped with the win.

Saturday morning Centerville came to town. Matt Stevenson earned his first start of the season and Cody Ramm helped him finish off a 6-2 victory. Nile Culver scored the game winner as part of a 2 goal effort in the win.

Sunday Northview had a matinee with the Findlay Trojans. Snead and Cook each scored a pair of goals in the first period as the Cats overwhelmed Findlay early. Carter Bourland finished off the scoring with a goal in the third for the 5-1 win. Craig Trego picked up his 17th win of the season to move within 3 wins of 1982 graduate Rocky Muszynski’s all-time record of 62.

The Cats have just 1 game next weekend as the take on St. Johns Saturday night at 9:00. Get your tickets early as this game may sell out.
