Cats defeat Yellow Jackets in 2nd round of the playoffs

The Wildcats started their quest for a 2nd straight state championship last night with a 10-0 win over the yellow Jackets of Perrysburg. A host of Wildcats scored including the career 1st from Sulumain Mustapha as Northview cruised into the district semifinal to be played this Saturday at 7. The Cats will play the winner of tonights game between Findlay and Whitmer. The Cats waisted little time as they scored 5 times during a stretch of 4:20 of the 1st period to seize control of the game. Drew Crandall and Caleb Rau scored a pair of goals and Connor Simon, Cody Estrel, Zack Galecki, Brandon Bihn and Xavier Sudlow all added single markers for the Cats offense. Junior David Marsh picked up his 6th shutout of the season in nets for the Cats as Northview moved to 24-6-1 on the season. Tickets are on sale now at Tam-o-Shanter for Saturday evenings contest.
