Cats cruise in 1st round win

The Cats opened up state tournament play with a 9 to 0 win over Perrysburgh at Tam-o-Shanter.  Dalton Carter and Ryan Laplante each recorded 4 points in the  win as Junior Phil Bowles pitched the shutout. Bowles tied 2006 grad Bobby McElheney and 08′ grad Craig Trego for the single season record with his 7th shutout on the year. Sophomore Tyler Dewitt scored his 1st career goal and  Brady Storer his 1st of the season. Tyler Harding, Nick Laplante and Ross Roberson all chipped in with goals for the Cats.

The win pushed the Cats overall record to 19-7-3. Northview will take on Anthony Wayne in the 2nd round Wednesday February 23rd at 8 also at Tam-o.
