The Northview Wildcats defeated Perrysburg 8 to 1 this past Monday evening and will move on to face St. Francis this Friday evening @ 7 at Tam-o-Shanter in the district semi-finals. Sophomore Zach Doner scored a pair of goals and linemates Nick Nye and Rony Rady each scored their career 1st to pace a 8 to 1 win over the Yellow Jackets. Ian Clement, Josh Koback, Brendan Pierson and Yaseen Mustapha also tallied for the Cats and Senior Preston Due stopped 12 shots to earn the win.
The win gives the Cats an opportunity against top seeded St Francis. The teams have met 3 times this season with the Knights claiming victories in the 1st 2 games before the Cats rebounded to win the final game. Tickets are available at Tam-o-Shanter. The winner will move on to play the winner of the St. Johns Findlay game next Saturday night March 7th @ 7. Good Luck Cats!!
