The Wildcats will play in their 7th district final in the past 9 years and look for their 4th final four berth over that span when they take on the St. Johns Titans Saturday night at 7 at Tam-o-Shanter. The game will be a rematch of last years district final where the Cats eliminated the Titans 2 to 1 in route to their 1st state championship title.

Last week in the district semi-final the Cats overcame a early goal from Findlay to elimante the Trjans 8 to 3.  A host of scorers led by Senior captain Zander Pryor proved to be too much for Findlay.  After spotting the Trojans a 1 to 0 lead just 90 seconds into the game, the Cats would score 4 times in the opening frame to seize the momentum. Pryor answered just 26 seconds later and Caleb Rau, Nick LaPlante and Xavier Sudlow also scored. The 2nd period was a little sloppy however, Ian Clement knocked home a rebound goal for a 5 to 1 lead.  The Trojans hit for goal as the buzzer sounded to close to 5 to 2 at the end of 2. Zach Galecki restored the 4 goal cushion early in the 3rd and Pryor added his 2nd of the night on a beautiful individual short-handed effort for a 5 goal lead. Junior Bailey Breitigam would score late on the power-play after a Findlay goal for the final margin. Junior David Marsh picked up his 14th win of the season stopping 18 shot in goal for the Cats.
