Gentle Giant Easton is a man amongst boys

Brent Easton has been a full grown man since the day he walked through the Northview doors for the start of his freshman year. At 6’0? and 210 lbs he has been a physical presence along the blue line for 4 seasons and has helped the Cats keep the program among the elite in the NHC and across the state. He has enjoyed being a part of teams that have 3 times finished 2nd in the league, A league playoff championship, A district final, district championship and state runner-up. This Season along with the rest of his teammates he has helped push the Cats over the hump. With 2 wins last weekend the Cats have clinched the league championship. They also reclaimed the cold turkey tournament, Padua Invitational and the Mid-winter classic in Chicago. At 22-1-3 the Cats sit atop the league standings and hold a #2 ranking in the state poll.

Off the ice Brent is a completely different person. His commitment to his teammates, family and friends is evident in every relationship. His soft and relaxed nature off the ice couldn’t be farther from the punishing style he shows on it. Unfortunately Brent has been dealing with an injury that has robbed him of part of his senior season, but with every practice he gets closer to getting back on the ice. His return will hopefully be the final piece to get the Cats back to Columbus and try to capture that elusive state title.

Congratulations Brent on an outstanding career and good luck with the rest of your senior season!!
